Circa Sports is once again setting a new standard for professional football contests in Nevada.
This year, Circa Sports has committed to a prize pool of $12 million for its Circa Sports Million and Circa Survivor contests. This represents a 20% increase from the total prize pool for the two contests in 2021.
The prize pool for the Circa Millions pro football handicapping contest is set to increase from $4 million to $6 million. Despite a loss of $1.9 million last year for the Nevada sportsbook operator, the Circa Survivor prize pool will maintain its $6 million value.
Residents of Nevada can submit their picks in person at any Circa Sports retail location. Additionally, they can also use a kiosk at these retail locations to enter their selections. Finally, they have the option to submit their picks using the Circa Sports Nevada sports betting app.
Last year, Circa Sports awarded at least $1 million in prizes to six contestants after the season between the two contests. The Circa Survivor contest alone produced five millionaires.
This morning, Derek Stevens, the owner of Circa Sports, and Mike Palm, VP of Operations, announced on VSiN (Vegas Sports and Information Network).
Registration for the competitions must be completed in Nevada before the start of the NFL season. When available, Circa Sports will not permit registrations for the two competitions from Colorado, Iowa, or Illinois.
It is not mandatory for participants to reside in Nevada. Circa Sports contests are open to out-of-state residents who can participate through the use of a proxy service.
Out-of-state residents wishing to participate in the Circa Sports contests must travel to a Circa Sports location in Nevada and register in person with the proxy service staff.
After the registration process is finished, a proxy service can be utilized to submit the player’s picks. Though this is a handy service, it is not free of charge. There is a fee associated with football contest proxies.
Contestants can sign up for the contests at any Circa Sports Nevada location.

Circa Sports Million IV
The Circa Sports Million is a classic pro football betting competition. The admission charge for this competition is $1,000. This year, each participant is permitted a maximum of 3 entries.
Each week of the NFL season, players will choose 5 games against a set spread. The point spread, once established, will remain unchanged. Each correct selection will earn an entry one point, and a push will earn half a point (0.5).
During the pro football regular season, the contest point spreads will be released around 10:00 am every Thursday. Weekly selections should be submitted by 4:00 pm each Saturday throughout the season.
A participant must submit all five selections for the week before the kickoff of a Thursday night football game they wish to select.

Are you a Circa Survivor?
Circa Survivor is a fairly conventional pool in its category. Participants of this competition are required to pay an entry fee of $1,000. Each contestant is permitted to have a maximum of six (6) entries.
In the Circa Survivor contest, which spans 20 “weeks,” participants are simply required to choose a different outright winner each week, without selecting the same team more than once.
Should a participant’s entry lose the Thursday Night Football game on Sep. 8, they have the option to purchase another entry into the contest prior to the kickoff of games on Sep. 10 to substitute the losing entry.
The entry deadline is 2 pm on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022. This year, a new rule change permits those who lose in the first game to choose to re-enter the contest. A maximum of three losing entries can be replaced.
For each entry, contestants can make a maximum of 20 selections for the season. Players will continue making selections until they make an incorrect one.
Participants will choose a game for each of the NFL’s Weeks 1 to 18. They will also make a choice for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, making it a total of 20 “weeks”.
Two exceptions aside, the cut-off time for Circa Survivor selections each Contest Week is 4:00 pm on Saturday.
The submission deadline for the contest “week” encompassing Thanksgiving Day is 10 pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. For the Christmas contest “week”, the selection deadline is set for 10 pm on Friday, December 23, 2022.
Should this sound perplexing, consult the contest rules of Circa Survivor for detailed information.
What are the Circa Survivor prizes?
The prize pool for the Circa Survivor contest will be guaranteed to be a minimum of $6 million. If the contest’s entry fees exceed $6 million, the excess will be added to the prize pool as there are no administration fees or rake.
This year’s contest has an interesting twist – a bonus prize of $1 million. This is awarded to entries that manage a 20-0 streak without picking the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals during the contest.
The Circa Survivor contest won’t have a rake. All entry fees will be distributed among the participants.
