Raiders With Strong NFL Futures Betting Value Ahead Of Free Agency

Raiders NFL Futures Free Agency

The Raiders went 7-9 this past season despite owning the most difficult schedule in the NFL.

If Antonio Brown had kept a good head on his shoulders and had actually played a full season for Jon Gruden, who knows how good the Silver and Black could have been?

The now Las Vegas Raiders will surely be players in free agency and the trade market this spring considering they want to make a big splash in their first season in a new home. Tom Brady is the big name being floated, but there are several other ways in which the Raiders might be able to challenge the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs in the division.

Raiders NFL Futures odds

Sportsbooks across the country view the Vegas Raiders as a middle of the pack team right now.

That doesn’t mean they are not worth throwing a few bucks on right now, however.

Consider that the San Francisco 49ers were +4500 to win the Super Bowl at this point a year ago. The Niners did not capture the Lombardi, of course, but they were a few plays away from winning the sixth Super Bowl in their franchise’s history.

Picking out a few longshots that could vastly exceed expectations is a sound betting strategy this time of year.

Here are the odds at various legal sportsbooks for the Raiders to win the Super Bowl in February 2021.

FanDuel: +5000

DraftKings: +5000

888 Sport: +5000

Bet365: +3300

Wide receivers needed

If Brady were to jump to Gruden’s camp, the Raiders’ odds would obviously soar.

There has been growing buzz that Brady wants to play with Brown once again, as well, and Brown has been trying to make amends with Gruden this off-season.

Gruden will certainly be targeting a new receiver in free agency, regardless of what happens with Brady and Brown.

The Raiders’ leading wide receiver this past season was Tyrell Williams, who hauled in just 651 yards. Those are solid numbers for a No. 2 man, but far from elite status.

A few receivers who have been mentioned as potential targets for the Raiders this off-season are AJ Green, Robby Anderson or Devin Funchess.
