Yes, there are plenty of Raiders fans in the Las Vegas valley. There are also plenty of NFL fans from around the country that visit to see their team play in Sin City.

Most NFL games have a crowd that is solidly in favor of the home team. That’s not always the case in Las Vegas.

How to bet on the Las Vegas Raiders and the nearest casino-hotels to games

All new Nevada sports betting app accounts must be opened at a retail sportsbook inside of a casino. Nevada does not offer remote sports betting app account registration.

As the crow flies, Mandalay Bay is the closest casino to Allegiant Stadium. Technically, the exit from Luxor might be a few steps closer to Allegiant Stadium.

Delano is an all-suite hotel that is located inside the Mandalay Bay complex. This non-gaming hotel tower is located near the Mandalay Bay sportsbook and the entrance to The Shoppes at Mandalay Place.

The two casinos and Delano hotel are connected via The Shoppes at Mandalay Place.

Mandalay Bay and Luxor both have BetMGM sportsbooks. These are key locations as they’re the closest sportsbooks to Allegiant Stadium.

BetMGM Nevada accounts are separate from other states with legal sports betting. Even if someone has a BetMGM account outside of Nevada, they’ll have to sign up for a separate Nevada account in person at a BetMGM sportsbook.

Las Vegas Raiders home schedule

The Raiders play eight home games at Allegiant Stadium this season. Most will take place on Sunday at 1 pm.

At this time there will be only one “night” game. The Raiders will play the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football at 5:20 local time on Dec. 18. That’s still daytime in Las Vegas.

The NFL is leaving games during the last week of the season without a kickoff time. This will cause less confusion if one of the TV networks decides to flex the game into a primetime slot.

Getting to Las Vegas Raiders games

There are a variety of ways to get to Allegiant Stadium for Raiders games. There’s limited parking at the stadium.

Locals and tourists can park within a mile of the stadium, take a rideshare or walk from the nearby casinos.

Walking

It’s possible to walk from a casino directly to Allegiant Stadium. It will take some time though. It’s helpful to remember that most places in Las Vegas are farther than they appear.

Allegiant Stadium is just across the freeway from the two closest casinos. The one-mile walk across the Hacienda Bridge from Mandalay Bay or Luxor will take about 20 minutes.

The 20-minute walk isn’t bad but that’s an estimate based on the nearest exit to the stadium from the two casinos. Visitors will want to add time getting to those casinos and then walking through the property to those exits.

Driving

Allegiant Stadium only has about 6,000 parking spaces on site. There are approximately 35,000 parking spaces within one mile of the stadium.

It costs between $40-$100 to park at Allegiant Stadium. MGM Resorts offers pre-paid parking spaces at Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and Excalibur for $35.

Other parking spaces outside of these locations could fluctuate by demand. Spot Hero is Allegiant Stadium’s official parking partner.

Additionally, Parking.com has local parking listings. TicketMaster sells parking passes on the secondary market.

Rideshare

The official designated rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.) area for Allegiant Stadium is located at Lot N (5285 Dean Martin Dr.) The walk to the stadium should only take a few minutes.

Like other football stadiums, there’s heavy traffic before and after Raiders games so getting around by car isn’t quick.

Alternatively, fans can take a rideshare to and from the nearby casinos and walk across the Hacienda Bridge.

Rideshares typically have surge pricing in place around Allegiant Stadium before and after Raiders games. Prices may be higher than usual.

Busing

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) has inexpensive bus service for Raiders games from all over the Las Vegas valley.

Bus tickets are only $2 each way and leave from a variety of off-strip casinos. Visit the RTC for more information.

Raiders tickets are in high demand

Last year, Raiders games had the most expensive tickets in the NFL. According to TicketIQ, the average ticket to a Raiders game last year was $691.

Raiders ticket prices for this season on the secondary market appear to be far above average thanks to tourists. The purchase prices for Raiders tickets are driven by high demand.

Fans of other teams playing in Las Vegas are willing to pay whatever price they have to to see their team play in Las Vegas. Anecdotally, many fans from other NFL cities have been re-routing annual visits to Las Vegas around watching their team play the Raiders.

Last year, fans of visiting teams would often overtake Raiders fans when playing in Las Vegas. This year looks to be the same as the Raiders conveniently play home games just off the Vegas Strip.

Allegiant Stadium is located across the I-15 freeway from Mandalay Bay and Luxor on the south end of the Vegas Strip. If the stadium was farther away from the tourist corridor like UNLV‘s old home stadium, it’s likely fewer tourists would go to the games.

Tailgating before Raiders games

Tailgating in Las Vegas is a bit different than at other football games around the country. There’s no all-day tailgating for Raiders games.

The parking lot at Allegiant Stadium opens four hours before the games begin.

Allegiant Stadium has limited parking compared to most NFL stadiums. Visitors can only tailgate in specific locations.

• Tailgating is permitted at these onsite parking lots: A, B, C, E, F, G, H & J
• Tailgating is permitted at these offsite parking lots: T, V, U, X, W, S, Z, N

Tailgaiting at Allegiant Stadium with friends driving to a Raiders game will take some advanced and day-of-game coordination.

Parking in Allegiant Stadium lots is very specific. Staff will send cars to the next available parking space.

Visitors must park in the space they’re directed to. If multiple cars of people want to park next to each other to tailgate they have to line up behind one another and drive into the lot together.

Cars can only begin lining up for one hour before the lots open.

Allegiant Stadium is cashless

Allegiant Stadium opened as the first pro sports venue in America to be completely cashless. Dollar bills are not accepted at any venue inside of Allegiant Stadium.

Visitors can pay for food, drink, merchandise, etc. using the following methods:

• Debit Card
• Credit card
• Mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay)

Allegiant Stadium has cash-to-card kiosks located throughout the venue for anyone who doesn’t have a way to pay without cash.

Visitors can use the kiosks to exchange cash for a prepaid card that can be used both inside and outside the stadium.

Where to eat before and after Raiders games

Most people going to Raiders games won’t be tailgating in the traditional sense of the word. Las Vegas has plenty of bars and restaurants to fulfill any pre and post-game needs.

Getting to the game will take some time for anyone parking at an offsite lot, using rideshares, or walking from a casino. Building in the 20-minute walk after leaving Mandalay Bay or Luxor will help most people appropriately budget their time to eat.

Between Mandalay Bay and Luxor, there are nearly 40 restaurants. The Fan District On The Tap is a focal point for partying before and after Raiders games.
