[toc]Every summer, Nevada’s major poker event is invariably the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Nonetheless, this year WSOP.com is stepping up its game by offering continuous poker action usually unique to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.

The website is the host for the Summer Grind Tour, an online poker series that will take place simultaneously with the WSOP from May 30 to July 17. The event includes three online bracelet tournaments. Additionally, there are numerous satellites to live bracelet events and a schedule of online tournaments with more than $850,000 in guarantees.

WSOP.com’s head of poker, Bill Rini, discussed the growth of the online site, which is the sole regulated online poker operator in Nevada.

In a span of four years, WSOP.com Nevada has expanded from having no online bracelet events to hosting three this year, offering millions of dollars in guarantees and bonuses. As more people become aware of what we offer, we continue to experience growth. Our goal is to continually expand our game selection, catering to players of all levels, both from within and outside Nevada, especially during their visit for the WSOP.

Rini and the team at WSOP.com are committed to their mission. A quick look at their ambitious summer schedule confirms their determination to make their online poker site a must-visit platform offering great value, in the highly competitive Las Vegas poker market.

Summer Grind Series features $2.5 million in guarantees

The Summer Grind Series has a packed calendar, which can make tracking all events and offers challenging. Here are some key highlights:

Three online bracelet tournaments

The WSOP, after launching an online bracelet in 2015, is broadening the official online contest to encompass three tournaments.

  • The Little Grind, a new bracelet event with unlimited re-entry, is set to take place on Sunday, June 3 at 3:33 p.m. This tournament has a record low buy-in for the WSOP at $333 and features a significant $333,333 guarantee.
  • The Big Grind – set for Saturday, July 1 at 3:33 p.m. This event, which requires a buy-in of $3,333, is designed for high rollers. It allows unlimited re-entries, similar to its counterpart, The Little Grind.
  • The Classic – Set for Friday, July 7 at 2:00 p.m., the well-known $1,000 buy-in bracelet event is returning for its third occurrence. Unlike before, there will be no live final table; the entire event will be held online, concluding in a single day.

Mega satellite events with big guarantees

Every day, satellites are available for bracelet events. Moreover, there are several significant mega satellite tournaments that are sure to attract spectators due to the substantial number of guaranteed seats. Here’s an overview:

  • On Friday, June 2 at 5:00 p.m., The Marquee 33 is hosting a mega event. With a buy-in of $22, players can enter for a chance to participate in the $333 buy-in Little Grind event. As a surprise, 33 seats are guaranteed for the new online bracelet event.
  • The Colossal XXII mega satellite event will take place on Saturday, June 3 at 5:00 p.m. The buy-in for this event is $22, and it is a prelude to the $560 buy-in Colossus live event at the WSOP. This mega satellite event guarantees 22 seats.
  • The popular World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event mega is once again promising 25 guaranteed seats, each worth $10,000, into the year’s biggest live poker tournament. The 25 Seat Scramble is set to take place on Saturday, July 8 at 3:00 p.m.

Online Championships series

WSOP.com isn’t just focusing on bracelet events this summer. It’s also hosting its own esteemed tournament series, the Online Championships. This series, which features 108 unique tournaments, runs from June 3rd to July 7th. Every day, three events are held. Below is a sneak peek at some of the standout tournaments:

  • The opening event of the series, featuring a $20,000 guarantee, will take place on Saturday, June 3 at 4:00 p.m. with a $100 buy-in. This kickoff tournament will have a deepstack structure with options for rebuys and add-ons.
  • Event #25, with a buy-in of $500, is scheduled for Sunday, June 11 at 4:00 p.m. This re-entry tournament offers one of the schedule’s biggest guarantees at $50,000.
  • Event #85, with a $500 buy-in, is scheduled for Saturday, July 1 at 4:00 p.m. This event, also a re-entry tournament with a $50,000 guarantee, is a great option if you miss Event #25.

Daily bracelet satellites

Besides the mega satellite events, the Nevada online poker site also provides numerous daily satellite events that lead to live WSOP bracelet events. Players have the opportunity to enter bracelet tournaments for as little as $10.

A noteworthy daily satellite is the evening tournament requiring a $20 buy-in, which offers rebuys and add-ons. This tournament guarantees two seats into any WSOP bracelet events with a $1,000 buy-in. The tournament takes place every night at 8 p.m.

Additionally, there are satellite events designed to focus on specific bracelet events such as:

  • Millionaire Maker
  • One Drop for Little One
  • Monster Stack
  • Ladies Event
  • Seniors Event
  • Crazy Eights

During each afternoon and evening of the summer, an endless array of online events are taking place. Make sure to frequently visit the tournament lobby to avoid missing any of the exciting activities.
