If At First Skill-Based Games Don’t Succeed, Try Try A TriStation

[toc]Caesars Entertainment venues along the Las Vegas Strip are prepared to introduce the newest skill-based gambling technology.

Gamblit Gaming, a designer of skill-based casino games, in partnership with Caesars Entertainment, has announced the launch of their new TriStation hardware at Planet Hollywood. The two companies also revealed plans to install TriStation skill-based casino game units at various locations including Caesars Palace, Paris Las Vegas and The LINQ Hotel & Casino. However, the installation process is expected to take several weeks.

Gamblit’s skill-based games

The TriStation hardware from Gamblit offers six unique single-player skill-based video games. These games are a fusion of original content from Gamblit and from their popular partner games. The games included in the units are:

  • Into the Dead, a first-person shooter game, has already been downloaded 72 million times on mobile.
  • Catapult King – A popular physics game with over 35 million downloads.
  • Lucky Words – A 30-second round word game
  • A puzzle game – Match 3volution
  • Blast Smoothie – A matching game
  • Cake Slice – A Cutting Game

Gamblit Gaming CEO, Eric Meyerhofer, expressed immense excitement in a press release about the launch of their second hardware line and six new games on casino floors. He praised Caesars for being an excellent partner, understanding the need for innovation and reaching new consumers already present on the floor. Meyerhofer believes that with their extensive variety of games at launch, the TriStation hardware is capable of offering something for everyone.

Caesars committed to innovation

Melissa Price, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Gaming at Caesars Entertainment, stated that this launch demonstrated Caesars’ dedication to innovation.

Caesars Entertainment’s continuous dedication to innovative gaming involves taking risks and investing in unique product offerings that we believe provide our customers with original and thrilling experiences. The TriStation game machine by Gamblit is an exciting venture as it is the first instance of individuals being able to play some of their favorite video games on a casino floor.

In March 2017, Caesars introduced skill-based games designed by Gamblit in Las Vegas. The games launched were the Model G multi-player gaming tables, a creation of the designer.

Since its inception, Gamblit’s Model G multi-player gaming tables have been introduced at several casinos in Las Vegas, California, and Oklahoma.

Attracting a younger player

The company states that these units successfully draw in players who are, on average, 20 years younger than those typically attracted to traditional slots.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board’s New Innovation Beta program launched the new TriStation hardware. This includes 30-day field trials for the units.

Plans are already underway to introduce the TriStation hardware units in most of Nevada’s Caesars Entertainment’s casinos. Furthermore, Harrah’s Resort Southern California is expected to be the first casino in California to initiate the launch. Yet, final regulatory approval is still required for this expansion.

Caesars also intends to set up TriStation hardware gaming stations across its other US properties. However, this will not take place until the field trials are completed.

Gamblit Gaming asserts that its goal is to infuse the casino market with a casual, arcade-style fun and skill.

Caesars Entertainment runs 47 casinos across 13 states in the US and in five other countries. The majority of these properties operate under the Caesars, Harrah’s and Horseshoe brands.
