The 12th week of the Overwatch League brings a rivalry rematch and introduces new betting markets at two legal online sportsbooks in Nevada. The expansion of the catalog indicates that esports betting in Nevada has never been stronger.

Caesars and William Hill’s online sportsbooks feature betting markets for the Atlanta Reign vs Philadelphia Fusion match on Saturday, among others. These online competitions are expected to provide exciting action for both bettors and fans.

Nevada esports betting markets on Saturday’s Overwatch League matches

The Overwatch League has scheduled five matches for Saturday, April 25. In response, both Caesars and William Hill are offering bets on all five games.

The markets at the two books don’t differ much. To illustrate, both are merely presenting straight bets on the five matches without any props, spreads, or totals available as of Friday morning.

Betting -220 on Philadelphia over Atlanta may be the safest option at both books. There are numerous reasons to place your bets on the Fusion.

Philadelphia has already defeated the Reign once this season. During Week 10, Atlanta was unsuccessful in their attempt at a reverse-sweep, with the Fusion emerging victorious with a 3-2 win.

Philadelphia has only suffered one loss this season, a feat largely attributed to the impressive Tracer and Widowmaker gameplay of Jae-Hyeok “Carpe” Lee.

The double All-Star in a damage role is not just the first player in league history to achieve 4,000 eliminations. It’s completely valid for anyone to regard him as the best player in the OWL at the moment.

Atlanta will be particularly driven to make up for their Week 10 performance, while the Fusion are on a roll due to Carpe. If you’re searching for a selection with improved odds, consider the Hangzhou Spark at +285.

Handicapping Hangzhou vs. Seoul for Week 12

This week, their opponent, the Seoul Dynasty, has only played two matches this season, both against the two Los Angeles franchises. So far in 2020, both the Gladiators and Valiant have lost more maps than they’ve managed to complete.

Hangzhou has also proven this to be true, particularly with the Spark facing tougher competitors in its seven matches. The team’s collective experience this season gives Hangzhou an edge, making them the most likely to stage an upset on Saturday.

To catch the live action of that match, tune in to the Overwatch League YouTube account. Be prepared to rise quite early, though.

Since these matches are being held remotely, the times correspond to the teams’ respective locations. The match between Hangzhou and Seoul will kick off this Saturday’s activities at 1 a.m. Pacific Time.

During the coronavirus pandemic, esports are progressing with high-level matches such as these OWL games. The Nevada Gaming Control Board has also been highly supportive of sportsbooks’ interest in the events.

This weekend, both seasoned esports bettors and novices have the chance to legally place bets on OWL matches in NV for the first time. Hopefully, this will become a regular part of the state’s betting scene.
