Ahead of the 4th of July weekend, Caesars Sportsbook at Harrah’s in the Las Vegas Strip revealed a fresh new look. On June 29, in celebration of the renovation’s completion, the Caesars Race & Sportsbook at Harrah’s held a grand reopening event. The ceremony included a ribbon-cutting and the inaugural bet was placed by Pro Football Hall of Famer and Las Vegas resident, Jonathan Ogden.
The ex-left tackle and 11-time Pro Bowler staked $50 on the Ravens to triumph in Super Bowl LVII on February 12, 2025. With 20/1 odds, he could potentially net a $1,000 return. Such Super Bowl wagers are quite typical in the Nevada online sports betting scene.
Should he be victorious, the proceeds will be given to the Jonathan Ogden Foundation, a Baltimore-based organization he founded in 1996. The foundation’s objective is to help youths in underprivileged communities build self-esteem via sports and education. Ogden later set up the Ogden Family Foundation in Las Vegas in 2008.
“Being a Raven for life and also loving my Raiders is something I acknowledge,” said Ogden. He further added on the potential of Ravens winning the Super Bowl, “If they maintain their health, we have a chance.”
Maintaining a healthy body and mind leads to a healthy spirit. Ogden also expresses his belief that the Ravens, who are favorites in the AFC North, have the potential to reach the playoffs and make a comeback to the Super Bowl.
Ogden played a significant role in the 2000 Ravens team that posted a 12-4 record and won Super Bowl XXXV. Their victory was by a margin of 34-7 against the New York Giants.

According to David Grolman, the Senior Vice President of Retail Operations at Caesars Sportsbook,
“We began to imagine constructing these things in such a way that you feel like you’re in your own home, a restaurant, a pleasant club, or a bar, where you can engage with your friends.”
Senior Vice President and General Manager of Harrah’s Las Vegas, Dan Walsh, joined David in the Grand Reopening ceremony at Harrah’s. “Our aim was to elevate our standards and enhance this space to align it with the rest of the property,” he expressed.
Caesars Eats, a mobile ordering platform, allows guests at Harrah’s Las Vegas restaurants to order food to be conveniently delivered to their seats at the newly renovated sportsbook. Alternatively, they can also reserve their experience while betting via the only sportsbook app integrated with Caesars Rewards.
Walsh also mentioned that a kitchen under the renowned chef Gordon Ramsey will be opening at Harrah’s later this year.
More Caesars expansion and renovations in Las Vegas
Harrah’s upgrades and additional features will also encompass a new center bar and lounge in the casino. This area will cater to the convention attendees from the recently established Caesars Forum convention center.
The property is situated immediately to the West of the convention center, which was a part of the NFL Draft in April.
Caesars Sportsbook is currently implementing additional plans and renovations at Paris Las Vegas. These updates include the transformation of Bally’s into the new Horseshoe brand later this year. A significant part of these changes is the relocation of WSOP back to the Vegas Strip at the previously mentioned casinos.
As the 2022 football season approaches, sports enthusiasts can enjoy the biggest college football games and NFL contests, thanks to the nine Caesars properties in Las Vegas and their sportsbooks that attract avid fans.
