Grand Opening Of Legends Bay Casino, Circa Sportsbook Aug. 30

Legends Bay Casino has announced its grand opening to the public on Aug. 30, 2022, at 8 pm. This marks the first new casino in northern Nevada in over two decades.

Located at The Outlets at Legends in Sparks, NV, the 80,000-square-foot casino and dining spot is all set for its grand opening celebration. The festivities will continue throughout the week, coming to a grand close with a complimentary firework display on Friday, Sept. 2.

This property is exclusively a casino. It sets itself apart from the majority of Las Vegas and Reno casino-resorts by not having an attached hotel. Legends Bay Casino is specifically designed to serve gamblers in northern Nevada.

Northern Nevada sports bettors will have their first sports betting destination, Circa Sports sportsbook, in addition to a casino.

Additionally, the property will provide an assortment of dining choices, inclusive of a Food Truck Hall featuring a range of quick-service restaurants.

Here’s what you’ll find on the Legends Bay gaming floor

Legends Bay Casino will concentrate on catering to residents of northern Nevada. It won’t be a colossal resort akin to MGM Grand or The Venetian.

Although there’s no hotel, this property is not small. The casino floor at Legends Bay Casino spans 80,000 square feet, which is marginally larger than the casino floor at Flamingo for reference.

When the property opens, there will be 10 table games, with half of them being blackjack.

Upon its opening on Aug 3, Legends Bay Casino will also provide the following table games:

• Three Card Poker
• Pai Gow Poker
• Ultimate Texas Hold’em

The casino floor is set to feature over 650 video poker and slot machines. A million-dollar progressive game will also be part of the Live Keno offerings.

The first Circa Sports location in northern Nevada might be the main feature of the property.

A look inside the Circa Sportsbook at Legends Bay Casino

The Legends Bay location of Circa Sports will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The sportsbook will primarily focus on a 10-by-15-foot Daktronics video board that will show live odds and six games. It will also have several 60-inch TVs.

Despite having a capacity of just under 140, this Circa Sports venue will provide a range of seating options akin to the main branch in downtown Las Vegas.

• The front rows of the sportsbook will feature 18 stadium-style seats.
• Banquette Booths – Six banquette booths will be available, accommodating up to 24 people.
• The area will be furnished with 10 high-top tables, each accommodating two people.

There will also be extra seating behind the high-top tables, which will feature video poker machines and offer a view of the sportsbook.

The Legends Bay Casino sportsbook will be the exclusive location in northern Nevada for in-person sign-ups for the Circa Sports Millions and Circa Survivor contests.

The two contests have a guaranteed prize pool of $12 million.
