Caesars Announces 2025 World Series of Poker Schedule

As promised, the complete daily event schedule for the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) has been released by Caesars.

In late December, the operator hinted at some of the WSOP events, initially announcing that the poker tournament would run from May 30 to July 18.

In 2025, the 54th WSOP will take place. This will be the second year in a row that the event will be held on the Vegas Strip at Paris and Horseshoe, previously known as Bally’s.

This year, the WSOP will feature an increased number of tables, a wider game variety, and the highest number of bracelet events in the event’s history. This was stated by Ty Stewart, the SVP & Executive Director of the WSOP.

“Following the success of WSOP’s premiere on the Las Vegas Strip last year, we anticipate a record-setting WSOP and World Championship at Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas in 2025.”

Breaking records for WSOP will primarily revolve around the Main Event.

Taking The WSOP Main Event To The Next Level

Stewart went on to say, “if the Main Event is on your bucket list, you should make it to Vegas this year.”

To put it in context, the first WSOP Main Event on the Vegas Strip last year saw the participation of 8,662 players. This was the second-highest number of participants in the Main Event.

The Main Event was won by Espen Jorstad from Norway, along with the $10 million first-place prize and the WSOP championship bracelet.

Caesars has launched a new series of promotions called “Main Event Mania” to help the WSOP Main Event break the 2006 record for the highest number of entrants. These promotions, five in total, aim to boost the number of players in the year’s most popular poker event.

600 Main Event Seats Guaranteed from GGPoker

GGPoker, the largest poker room worldwide, is also the exclusive satellite partner of WSOP. The site plans to provide 500 guaranteed seats for the Main Event.

In addition to this, the subscription site ClubGG.net will also host international qualifiers and provide another 100 seats for the Main Event.

In total, GGPoker will offer 600 total seats for the Main Event, equating to a prize pool of $6,000,000. This signifies a significant increase that more than doubles the number of official GGPoker qualifiers from the 2022 series.

Main Event Mania at Casinos Worldwide

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) will be hosting its first-ever Global Qualification Weekend. This promotional event is set to occur on May 20 and 21 in live poker rooms across five different continents globally.

Poker rooms globally will host Guaranteed Seat satellite tournaments to qualify players for the 2025 Main Event. Each poker room will conduct a “step” tournament with a buy-in of $140. This will lead to a grand finale with a $1,175 mega prize, which includes a guaranteed seat and a travel allowance to Las Vegas.

WSOP.COM’s 112-Seat Sprint

Once the event commences in Las Vegas, WSOP.com will provide more opportunities for participants to secure a Main Event seat. A total of 112 Main Event seats are guaranteed on WSOP Online from June 25 to July 8.

The 25-Seat Scramble, with a guarantee of $250,000, should be the biggest event. It is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 2.

The final seat in the Main Event will also be up for grabs in a last-chance drawing on Saturday, July 8.

WSOP.COM Online Bracelet Events

This year, the WSOP Online Bracelet events are making a return. Every Sunday throughout the summer, these online bracelet events will be held.

Three “Double Up Bracelet Days” are scheduled for June 4, June 25, and July 9. The WSOP Online schedule features key events such as the $500 Summer Saver, the $3,200 High Roller, and the standout $1,000 NLHE Online Championship.

New events in the WSOP Online include the $300 Summer Kick-Off and a $5,300 High Roller Championship Event. The final table of the High Roller Championship will be played live in Las Vegas during the WSOP Online’s Championship Week.

Main Event for Life

This remains to be determined and will only occur if the record for the WSOP Main Event is surpassed. Should this happen, all participants of the Main Event will be entered into a draw to win a non-transferable Main Event buy-in for the following 30 years.

The drawing, which will make use of each player’s Caesars Rewards number, is scheduled for Saturday, July 8.
