[toc]The World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2017 schedule has been unveiled.
Now WSOP.com in Nevada is giving online poker players an opportunity to plan ahead and win their way into the action.
Sunday, Feb. 5 marked the first day of online satellites on the online poker site. The satellites are the centerpiece of February promotions for the site.

WSOP Weekend Experience satellites
The online satellites are mostly geared towards awarding seats to the Colossus event. The tournament is a $550 buy-in bracelet event. Last year the event generated 21,613 entries and a prize pool of over $10.8 million.
Every Sunday at 4:45 p.m. PT there is a $30 buy-in satellite with rebuys and add-ons for a WSOP Weekend Experience package. This includes a Colossus seat, a seat into the $333 buy-in online bracelet event, a food voucher, and a swag bag.
The Colossus event has two starting flights at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. every day for three days starting on Friday, June 2. The online event is on June 3 at 3:30 p.m..
Colossus satellites
At 5:45 p.m. PT every Sunday, there is a $10 buy-in satellite with rebuys and add-ons with a $565 Colussus seat up for grabs.
$1,000 bracelet event satellites
At 6:45 p.m. PT each Sunday is a satellite which offers arguably the biggest bang for your buck.
The tournament is a $10 buy-in with rebuys and add-ons with the winner earning a seat into any $1,000 buy-in bracelet event. There are ten different $1,000 bracelet events to choose from on this year’s WSOP schedule.
Terms and conditions for the WSOP NV satellites
There are a few rules and terms for the satellites players should be aware of before playing.
As expected, the seats are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, the $1,000 event winners can opt to take their prize as WSOP.com tournament tickets instead of a bracelet event buy-in. Players have the ability after winning to decide how to accept their prize.
Winners of the Colossus seats will be directly registered into the event by the site. Players will choose which of the six flights they would like to play in advance of the tournament.
Sunday also offers Big Deal
If you’re spending your Sundays grinding WSOP qualifiers on the site, another tournament to watch out for is the monthly Big Deal event.
The Big Deal is held on the last Sunday of every month at 4 p.m. PT. The event has a $500 buy-in and a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool.
If the buy-in is a little too rich for your blood, there are a series of satellites into the event for as little as $5.
The $5 satellites run daily at 6 p.m. and a weekly $50 event with five guaranteed seats runs every Sunday (and the last Saturday of the month) at 5:45 p.m.
This new tournament was introduced on Jan. 31. The next Big Deal event is scheduled for Feb. 26.
