The ARCADE at Bally’s/Horseshoe Las Vegas, highlighted by Caesars, is now officially open. The launch follows its announcement just a few months ago during the summer.
This signifies a crucial step in the transition of Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino into a Horseshoe. The venue in the basement that is set to replace the sportsbook is officially named ARCADE at Horseshoe Las Vegas.
According to Jason Gregorec, the SVP and General Manager, the company anticipates the Arcade to revitalize the Las Vegas casino.
Our goal is to provide entertainment, and The ARCADE does exactly that by charming guests with its gigantic games and buzzing atmosphere. The launch of The ARCADE adds an extra layer of thrill to the property as it metamorphoses into Horseshoe Las Vegas.
Caesars has chosen not to substitute the sportsbook with a conventional venue. The estate merely has a sports betting desk and kiosks for individuals who wish to place a sports wager at Bally’s/Horseshoe. It appears that this is unlikely to alter. For game viewing, guests can go to Burger Brasserie.
The Arcade, alongside Twilight Zone by Monster Mini Golf, is available for guests of all ages to enjoy on the lower level at Bally’s/Horseshoe. The pool, as well as the tennis and pickleball courts, can also be accessed on this level. Indeed, Bally’s/Horseshoe boasts a tennis complex.
Checking out the Arcade
The Arcade at Bally’s spans 7,000 square feet and is illuminated by vibrant neon lights scattered all over the venue.
The Arcade boasts over 80 games, featuring classics such as:
- Skee-Ball
- Air hockey
- Rock the Rim
- A claw machine named Big One Extreme that doesn’t involve gambling
Virtual reality (VR) games are available as well, providing the immersive experience that many crave today. Games such as “King Kong” and “Mission Impossible” offer a four-player interactive gaming experience, allowing players to fully enjoy VR gaming.
Several arcades across the country transitioned to cashless operations years ago, a change that some casinos are only just implementing. The Arcade, for instance, uses re-loadable cards as a substitute for cash. Additionally, the Arcade allows players to exchange points for prizes instead of the traditional ticket-based system.
An all-ages arcade akin to Dave & Busters is coming soon. The games are already in place, with Caesars currently wrapping up a refurbishment of the bar area. In the near future, a variety of bottled and draft beers, cocktails and wine will be on offer.
You can find the Arcade in the basement of Bally’s/Horseshoe, close to the food court. It operates from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to midnight from Friday to Sunday.
Bally’s transition to Horseshoe Las Vegas
Caesars declared in January that they would be rebranding Bally’s to Horseshoe Las Vegas throughout the year. The transition appears to be on track for completion before the end of the year.
This isn’t a complete overhaul. The hotel rooms were updated not long ago, so they won’t be affected.
The casino floor and public areas within the property are undergoing renovations, and new dining options are being introduced. The exterior is being updated with a fresh coat of paint and new logos.
The modifications to Bally’s occurred seamlessly. Regarding the property’s rebranding, Gregorec stated:
Horseshoe has always prioritized gamblers. Since 1951, Horseshoe Casinos have offered the best odds, the highest limits, and the largest jackpots. Therefore, it seems only appropriate for us to reintroduce Horseshoe to Las Vegas, specifically on the Las Vegas Strip.
The latest change for the property is trading the sportsbook for the Arcade. Earlier this year, Jack Binion Steakhouse was added to the casino, and Burger Brasserie is now a part of the Bally’s/Horseshoe, rather than Paris.
Earlier this year, the Horseshoe brand made its debut on the Vegas Strip when it was hosted by Bally’s and Paris during the World Series of Poker.
