Caesars Palace recently finished a renovation worth several million dollars of its original casino dome, lobby bar, main entrance, and porte-cochère.
This update also introduces two new cutting-edge gaming pits. The outcome of these renovations is a rejuvenation of the iconic elements of this classic Las Vegas casino.
The Regional President of Caesars Entertainment, Sean McBurney, stated:
Ever since its establishment in 1966, Caesars Palace has been guided by the vision of its founder, Jay Sarno, to treat every guest as a Caesar. Our goal, from the instant guests arrive, is to provide unparalleled experiences that are unique to our premier resort.
Caesars Palace will not only update existing parts of the property but also add new eateries later this year.
Peter Luger Steakhouse from New York City will be opening its first Las Vegas branch at Caesars Palace. Additionally, the property will also welcome Dominique Ansel Las Vegas, Stanton Social Prime, among others.
Caesars Palace dome features luxurious chandelier
The casino beneath the dome at Caesars Palace underwent a significant modernization as a part of the renovations. These updates reintroduced some grandeur to this famously recognized section of the property.
A fresh addition of a new chandelier breathes life into a casino that has seemed somewhat worn out in recent years. This expansive chandelier, boasting 12,000 crystals, tips the scales at around 3,200 pounds.
The crystals, costing over $1 million, not only add beauty but also enhance the brightness of the energy-efficient LED lights in the casino.
Those who are fond of Caesars Palace should be pleased with these improvements. The legendary casino maintains its unique ambiance that many have appreciated throughout the years, yet it now presents a renewed and invigorating appearance.
New Galleria Bar open 24/7, features bartop games
As part of the renovations, Caesars Palace now boasts a stunning new lobby bar area that operates 24 hours a day. The Galleria Bar, with a seating capacity of 24, is conveniently located in the hotel lobby of Caesars Palace, situated between the main entrance and the entry to the Roman Plaza outdoors.
While waiting to check into their rooms, some guests will visit this bar. The 22 bartop gaming machines are available for gamblers to enjoy at any time of the day.
The multi-game machines on the bartop offer a range of games including slots and video poker. The paytables for video poker at Caesars Palace are expected to be similar to those of other bartop machines.
Caesars has released a statement describing the design of this bar as a contemporary interpretation of a grand Italian study. The bar is adorned with antique mirrors accentuated with gold and murals made from inlaid Italian wood. Additionally, it showcases four life-sized Venus sculptures.
Caesars Sportsbook gets VIP seating area
Earlier this year, Caesars Palace revamped its sportsbook, introducing a new seating area and fresh carpeting.
The sportsbook at Caesars Palace will look similar, but a bit tidier, with the addition of a new VIP seating area.
Throughout the year, Caesars has generally been updating the sportsbooks at several Las Vegas casinos.
The sportsbook at Harrah’s now boasts new video screens and seating. Meanwhile, the Linq has replaced its “Fan Caves” with a sports bar and betting window.
Caesars is in the process of converting Bally’s into Horseshoe Las Vegas. A significant transition was the closure of the sportsbook.
When it opens, the sportsbook at Bally’s will transform into an arcade. Currently, Bally’s only has a betting desk located on the main casino floor near the entrance to Paris Las Vegas.
