Circa Sports is launching the second edition of the Circa Sports Million II and the inaugural Circa Survivor contest. The pro football handicapping contest is set to offer $3 million in guaranteed prizes. The first-ever pro football survivor contest will award $1 million to the champion. Both competitions may offer larger prize money if the number of entries exceeds the break-even point (3,000 for Circa Sports Million and 1,000 for Circa Survivor).
Circa Sports Million
The 2020 Circa Sports Million will closely resemble the inaugural edition of the competition, but with an increased prize pool for a larger number of participants. As before, the Circa Sports Millions remains a conventional pro football handicapping contest.
How to play Circa Sports Million
Every week, participants will select five NFL games to bet against the posted point spread. The point spreads for each game will be published every Thursday approximately at 10 a.m. Picks must be submitted by 3 p.m. PT every Saturday.
Entering Circa Sports Million
To participate in the Circa Sports Million, individuals must pay an entry fee of $1,000 and are limited to three entries per person. Registrations must be made in person at a Circa Sports retail location, either at the Golden Gate Casino or The D in downtown Las Vegas.
Picks can only be submitted on a weekly basis from within Nevada, but participants are not required to be residents of Nevada. They have the option to employ a proxy service to make their weekly picks.
Submitting weekly picks
You can make picks in person or through the “contest” section on the Circa Sports mobile app. If you want to enter in person, you can do so at a Circa Sports betting counter or at a kiosk in any physical Circa Sports casino. If you’re a contestant from outside the state, you can engage a proxy service to make weekly picks on your behalf from within the state.
Quarterly MVP prizes
Circa Sports Millions has increased its quarterly prize pool. Now, instead of rewarding only the top performer each quarter, the contest will award prizes to the top three finishers. These prizes will be distributed to the players who make the most accurate picks/earn the most points during the subsequent weekly periods:
- 1-4
- 5-8
- 9-12
- 13-17
Circa Sports Million requires 3,000 entries to achieve a break-even point. Additional entry fees for Circa Sports Millions, given that no rake or administration fee is charged, will be distributed to participants. Any surplus will be allocated to Quarterly MVP winners by Circa Sports. The prizes are detailed below:
- 1st place: $150,000+

Circa Survivor Contest
Circa Sports is launching a survivor contest this year, named Circa Survivor, with an entry fee of $1,000 per participant and a maximum of five entries per person. The contest is a winner-takes-all event with a prize of $1 million. There are no additional charges such as a rake or administration fee in this contest. All entry fees contribute to the prize pool and if the total surpasses $1 million, the winner will claim the total amount. Furthermore, if a participant achieves a flawless 18-0 record for the season, Circa Sports will reward them with an additional $1 million prize.
Entering Circa Survivor
The entry fee for the contest is $1,000, and every participant can submit up to five entries. In a manner akin to the Circa Sports Million, all participants must register for the Circa Survivor in person at either the Golden Gate Casino or The D Las Vegas, which are retail locations of Circa Sports. All weekly entries are required to be submitted from within Nevada. Participants residing outside Nevada have the option to appoint a proxy for submitting their weekly picks.
Playing Circa Survivor
The contest format of Circa Survivor closely resembles that of other survivor contests, but with a unique twist. As in other survivor leagues, contestants make one straight-up (no spread) pick each week. However, each team may only be used once.
The significant distinction in this league lies in the number of weeks that are played. Circa Survivor mandates that picks be made over a span of 18 weeks. These picks need to be made each week of the 17-week regular season. The 18th week solely consists of the three games that are played on Thanksgiving Day.
The complete rules for the contest are available at Circa Sports.
