The total prize pool for the annual 2022 pro football contests by Circa Sports was raised to $12 million. Both contests were undecided until the last week of the NFL season.

The winner of the Circa Sports Millions contest had to wait until the conclusion of the season’s final game between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers to celebrate their victory. The Circa Survivor contest concluded earlier on Sunday, following a win by the Seattle Seahawks.

The prize pool for the Circa Sports Million contest has risen from $4 million to $6 million this season. The ultimate prize at the end of the season is $1 million, along with the Circa Sports blue blazer.

The Circa Survivor contest once again had a confirmed grand prize of $6 million. It again had $6 million worth of prizes up for grabs. However, neither winner was eligible for a potential $1 million bonus on the Circa Sports Nevada sports betting app.

Circa Survivor winners

Survivor Circa is a survivor-style contest that requires players to choose one winner each week, with an entry fee of $1,000. Unlike most survivor contests that have 18 “weeks,” Circa adds a unique twist by having 20 “weeks.”

The season began with 6,133 participants. However, only three contestants remained as the NFL’s regular season entered its final week. Each of the last three contestants selected a different team to lead them to victory and a portion of the $6.133 million prize.

  • Jacksonville Jaguars – Brown A
  • Jed – Seattle Seahawks
  • Indianapolis Colts – The Enemy Within

Brown A and Jed triumphed in the Circa Survivor contest with a 20-0 score, in contrast to The Enemy Within who ended with a 19-1 record due to their unfortunate choice of the Colts. The Enemy Within suffered a crushing defeat when the Colts were beaten by the Houston Texans. The Texans managed to pull off a comeback victory by scoring a last-minute touchdown and a two-point conversion.

Though technically the grand prize will be split between Brown A and Jed, it seems some of that cash will be claimed by The Enemy Within for their efforts.

Mike Barth, also known as The Enemy Within, informed VSiN, “We were well-hedged, so we’re fine.” He further disclosed to VSiN “that the three finalists reached a partial agreement and confirmed they could announce they made a deal but had to keep the specifics confidential due to a non-disclosure agreement.”

Circa Sports offered an extra $1 million prize for any contestant that avoided using the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals. However, both winners utilized at least one of these teams during the year, thereby disqualifying them from the additional cash reward.

Circa Sports Millions winner

The Circa Sports Million is a classic pro football betting competition, in which participants select five teams each week against a fixed point spread. Prizes are awarded on a quarterly basis throughout the season.

This season, the contest with a $1,000 entry fee saw a record of 4,691 entries. A hefty $1 million is the grand prize for the participant with the best record at the end of the contest.

The resolution of Circa Sports Millions didn’t come until the NFL regular season’s final game. The entries named CHIEF-3 and Enut34-1 were neck and neck for the top spot before the Sunday night showdown between the Lions and Packers.

Both participants made a selection for each side of this game. CHIEF-3 chose the Lions with a +4.5 point spread, while Enut34-1 selected the Packers with a -4.5 point spread.

The Lions’ fourth-quarter touchdown, which led to their victory, also propelled CHIEF-3 to win the Circa Sports Million contest and secure a $1 million prize.

Unsurprisingly, the CHIEF-3 contingent present at Circa Resort celebrated when the game wrapped up.

The overall record of CHIEF-3 at the end of the contest was 59-26-5.
