The 14th annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E) is set to take place in Las Vegas in a little over a month, drawing the gaming industry’s attention. Among the highlights of the conference are keynote speeches by Steve Wynn and Sheldon Adelson. Additionally, discussions on online gambling are expected to dominate the event.
Primarily, G2E is a conference focused on “gaming”. Despite the immense popularity of online gambling, it still doesn’t measure up to land-based gambling. Therefore, it’s unlikely that Steve Wynn will spend much time discussing iGaming in his keynote speech on Tuesday. Similarly, Sheldon Adelson, who is the keynote speaker on Thursday, is expected to give little attention to this topic.
In other words, online gambling represents the future. Various aspects of it, like tribal gaming seminars and payment processing, will likely be discussed in several seminars not exclusively dedicated to online gambling – implying the significance of iGaming in the future.
Here’s a preview of the iGaming seminars scheduled for G2E 2014. For a comprehensive schedule of all G2E seminars, keynotes, and vendor lists, please visit the official G2E website.
