Fanatics Sportsbook Launches in Indiana

Fanatics Betting and Gaming, a subsidiary of Fanatics Holdings Inc, has officially joined the expanding array of Indiana sports betting apps. This move was made possible through a partnership with Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg.

As of Tuesday, Fanatics Sportsbook has become available for all Indiana sports betting customers to download on both iOS and Android. Fanatics is persistently rolling out its legal sports betting platform in regions once occupied by PointsBet. This follows their purchase of PointsBet’s American operations for $225 million earlier this summer.

Once the Fanatics Sportsbook app is downloaded, former PointsBet users will automatically have their email, log-in details, balances, open bets, bonus bets, reward balance, and other Indiana sportsbook promotions transferred to their new account.

Fanatics Sportsbook has now become part of our top sports betting sites in 14 U.S. states, following the landmark transaction over the summer. Recently, Fanatics has been actively transitioning its platform away from PointsBet.

The sportsbook has recently launched in three U.S. states this month, including Iowa (since Feb. 6) and Michigan (since last Thursday). Fanatics is set to make its debut in the eagerly awaited North Carolina sports betting market on March 11.

Exploring the Indiana market

Since October 2019, Indiana’s top sports betting apps have been in operation in the lively Hoosier State. Since then, Indiana has established itself as one of the most dependable states for legal sports betting in the U.S., often securing a position in the top 10 most prosperous sports betting jurisdictions.

Indiana has reportedly welcomed a lifetime handle of approximately $15.3 billion, with the state’s gross gaming revenues surpassing $1 billion. Indiana is one of a mere 10 U.S. states to reach the lifetime handle milestone of $1 billion.

Indiana, also known as The Hoosier State, is viewed as a developed market that comprises all top-tier sportsbooks in the American market. The competition for market share in Indiana is intense, potentially creating challenges for any new operator seeking to penetrate and secure a significant market share in the state.

Hoping to improve on PointsBet

Prior to its sale to Fanatics, PointsBet Indiana had been struggling with mediocrity not only in the Indiana market but also in other states where it had a presence.

Before closing its operations, PointsBet was ranked as the seventh top sports betting provider in Indiana. The company took in $88.4 million in bets in the Hoosier State in 2025, marking a 17.3% decrease from the previous year.

The positive news is that December marked the best month for PointsBet with $16.2 million in accepted bets in the Indiana market.

What Fanatics brings to Indiana

Fanatics Sportsbook introduces significant brand recognition to the Indiana market, leveraging substantial experience in serving not just North American gamblers, but also sports apparel consumers. The company boasts an extensive customer database, a segment of which it aims to transition to its Fanatics Sportsbook division.

Fanatics Indiana will also offer the company’s rewards program, “FanCash”. This program allows customers to earn up to 5% cashback rewards that they can use for bonus bets and purchasing Fanatics branded merchandise on its top-rated online store.

Fanatics Sportsbook is offering $1,000 in bonus bets to all new users in Indiana as a welcome offer for their new product. This offer competes with the best sportsbook promotions in the state.
