[toc]Two giants of the hospitality and gaming industries have decided to bring together two of the best loyalty rewards programs in the business.
New Jersey hotelier Wyndham Worldwide and Nevada-based casino company Caesars Entertainment announced on June 5 that the two had reached an agreement on a loyalty partnership. Ultimately, the partnership will see the award-winning Wyndham Rewards and Total Rewards customer loyalty programs come together.
Once complete, this partnership should provide some great value for the two loyalty programs’ more than 50 million members around the world.
Immediate status match for Wyndham and Total Rewards members
Immediately, members of either program can enjoy a status match on the other. This means they will match a customer’s Wyndham Rewards member level to the same level in Total Rewards and vice versa. In reality, status is everything in these programs, and it comes with increased rewards, benefits and earning power.
The companies are also promising that by the end of the summer of 2017, members will have the ability to earn and redeem Wyndham Rewards points at Caesars Entertainment destinations in North America, and vice versa. Plus, members should also be able to transfer points between programs by then.
Additional benefits will also include the ability to book Total Rewards destinations across the United States and Canada through Wyndham Hotel Group and Wyndham Rewards channels. Plus, members of both programs will soon be able to bid on one-of-a-kind hotel, restaurant and entertainment experiences through the other.
Caesars always looking for quality partners
“For the last two years, we’ve been unrelenting in our efforts to build the world’s best rewards program, applying a laser-like focus to help our members experience travel where and how they want,” said Noah Brodksy, senior vice president of loyalty and engagement at Wyndham Hotel Group.
“Whether it’s a hotel, a condo, a vacation home or now, a world-class resort like Caesars Palace, no other program offers their members the breadth, the simplicity or the generosity of Wyndham Rewards.”
Caesars Entertainment executives said they are always looking for good partners, and believe they have found one in Wyndham.
“Total Rewards continues to set the standard for loyalty within gaming and entertainment, and we’re always looking for like-minded partners to elevate member benefits,” said Michael Marino, Caesars Entertainment senior vice president and chief experience officer.
“With Wyndham Rewards, we’re giving our members access to an unparalleled portfolio of hotels, condos and homes and a fast track to elevated status with one of the world’s premier rewards programs.”
