M Resort Putting Finishing Touches On Official Raiders Tavern

M Resort in Henderson is the official team headquarters hotel of the Las Vegas Raiders. The casino-resort located about 20 minutes away from the Vegas Strip is also opening the first-ever official Raiders bar and restaurant in Las Vegas.

The aptly named Raiders Tavern & Grill is scheduled to open its doors in the coming weeks. A source tells PlayNevada to expect the opening of Raiders Tavern & Grill on April 1.

Henderson is a Raiders town

Choosing M Resort as a team partner makes sense as the Las Vegas Raiders headquarters is located nearby. The team practices in Henderson as well.

“The M Resort has been a great environment for the players, coaches, alumni and staff, so when discussion began to lend our name to a restaurant, it just made sense to look right here,” said Raiders President Marc Badain.

Henderson is becoming one of two off-strip sports hubs in Las Vegas. The town is the home of the Raiders when they’re not playing games at Allegiant Stadium.

Henderson will also become home to the Henderson Silver Knights. The minor league affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights will play its home games at an arena on Green Valley and Paseo Verde parkways that is currently under construction.

Getting into the Raiders Tavern & Grill

The first of its kind, Raiders Tavern & Grill takes its design and atmosphere from the rich history of the Raiders franchise that has played in Oakland and Los Angeles, California. The bar and restaurant will be decked out in Raiders swag at all times.

There’s no doubt that this is a place to watching sports. The Raiders Tavern & Grill has two bars and a restaurant. The venue will be open throughout the year and will feature more than 45 high-definition TVs to watch the games.

Badain also says:

“With the launch of the Raiders Tavern & Grill, fans and the public at large will be immersed in the Silver & Black experience through décor and memorabilia while enjoying great food, drinks and service.”

M Resort designed the Raiders Tavern & Grill to showcase the Las Vegas Raiders. M Resort General Manager Hussain Mahrous says “we’re proud to bring our partnership with this iconic organization to a new level.”

The 3,400 square foot Raiders Tavern & Bar is moving into the space formerly occupied by Jayde Fuzion.

Limited edition Raiders players club cards

When the Raiders Tavern & Bar opens, M Resort will commemorate the occasion with a special edition Raiders-M Resort mychoice player cards for a limited time.

Mychoice is the casino loyalty program for all Penn National Gaming (PNG) properties. Points earned at M Resort in Las Vegas can be used as rewards at PNG properties around the country.

M Resort isn’t the only PNG casino in Las Vegas. For the time being, PNG operates the Tropicana as well. The casino operator also owns Barstool Sports and is opening Barstool sportsbooks at properties outside of Nevada.

It does not appear as though the Barstool Sports app will be coming to Las Vegas. Picking up and using the limited edition Raiders/mychoice card could give a player rewards to use at a property that does offer a Barstool Sports betting experience.

William Hill currently operates the sportsbook at M Resort.
