Fans Looking To Attend Las Vegas Raiders Games Will Need Proof Of COVID-19 Vaccine

Proof Of Vaccine Required By Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders have mandated that all attendees at home games at Allegiant Stadium must provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination for admittance. Fully vaccinated spectators are allowed to take off their masks once inside. However, those who are partially vaccinated must keep their masks on until they have received both doses.

The Raiders intend to provide vaccines at Allegiant Stadium before home games, enabling unvaccinated fans to get inoculated and gain entry into the stadium.

The Raiders plan to utilize the CLEAR free mobile app and its Health Pass feature. This policy will be implemented for the Raiders’ inaugural home game of the season, which takes place on Sept. 13 against the Baltimore Ravens during Monday Night Football.

How new Raiders policy will affect ticket holders

The Raiders made an announcement shortly after Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak detailed that certain large venues might permit guests to unmask if they can provide proof of vaccination.

Vincent Bonsignore from the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that season-ticket holders who choose not to receive the vaccine will have two options for their tickets:

  1. Fans have the option to transfer this year’s season-ticket costs to the following year.
  2. Fans have the option to receive a complete refund for this year while still keeping their season tickets for upcoming years.

More details for season-ticket holders will soon be released by The Raiders.

Raiders dealing with health and safety all year

The idea of mandating fans to be vaccinated in order to watch games live might seem rather extreme. Nonetheless, it corresponds with the strategies that the Raiders and their associates at Allegiant Stadium have been adopting to handle the virus.

Indeed, not only fans at Raiders games will have been vaccinated this year. Most Raiders players have also been vaccinated. Furthermore, the majority, if not all, of the staff working at Raiders games have already been vaccinated against COVID-19. Interestingly, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is still uncertain about receiving the vaccine, a fact not missed by renowned analyst Brent Musburger.

This year, the Raiders have implemented measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 within their organization. In a policy announced in May, the Raiders mandated that all full-time business and football staff members get vaccinated.

ASM Global Management and Levey Restaurants, two operation partners of Allegiant Stadium, mandate COVID-19 vaccinations for their employees. This includes all full-time staff of Allegiant Stadium managed by ASM Global Management, and those involved in Levey Restaurants’ concession operations.

In this declaration, Mark Davis, the owner of the Raiders, stated “our number one priority has always been health and safety.”

Having consulted with Governor Sisolak and other community leaders, this policy guarantees that we can run at full capacity, allowing fully vaccinated fans to go mask-free throughout the entire season.

New policy for more than just Raiders games

The announcement regarding the COVID-19 vaccination Raiders occurred a few hours after Sisolak unveiled a new mask policy. This policy applies to large venues with fixed seating and a capacity of 4,000 people. These venues are required to necessitate tickets or registration for entry. The rationale behind this requirement is to enable the venue to control and prevent unticketed individuals from attending the event.

Venues have the option to mandate face-coverings for both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests after they enter. The newly implemented policy facilitates large venues such as Allegiant Stadium to permit fully vaccinated guests to remove their masks if they can provide vaccination proof.

Entry to a venue is permissible for partially vaccinated individuals, provided they wear a mask. Children, who are too young to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, can also attend events at these venues, but they must also wear a mask.

This new policy does not require all large venues to adhere to it; they can choose whether to implement it. It is still unconfirmed whether T-Mobile Arena will adopt a similar policy for the Vegas Golden Knights when the season commences in October.
