The 49th Annual World Series of Poker doesn’t kick off until May 29. However, WSOP.com says it is never too early to start thinking about the event. In fact, the Nevada online poker site is starting up satellites Feb. 11, offering players the chance to win a seat in a WSOP bracelet event.

The satellite buy-ins start as low as $10. However, there are super satellites offering entry into the $10 buy-in tournaments with buy-ins as low as $1.

WSOP.com plans to run various 2018 WSOP event satellites and super satellites every Sunday in February from Feb. 11 through Feb. 25.

The $30 buy-in 2018 WSOP Kick-off Weekend Package Satellite ran on Sunday, commencing satellite season online.

The other satellites on the weekly schedule offer entry into a variety of 2018 WSOP events. These events include:

  • $565 WSOP Colossus
  • $365 WSOP Online Bracelet Event
  • $565 WSOP Online Bracelet PLO Event
  • $1,000 WSOP Online Bracelet Event
  • Any 2018 WSOP $1,000 buy-in event

A look at the full Sunday satellite schedule is available on WSOP.com.

WSOP.com first hosted an online WSOP bracelet event in 2015. The $1,000 event drew 905 entries in 2015 and 1,247 in 2016. In both years, the final table played out live at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas alongside the rest of the WSOP events.

In 2017, the number of online bracelet events was bumped up to three. All three events played to a conclusion online. The events were:

  • $1,000 No Limit Hold’em, drawing 1,312 entries
  • $333 No Limit Hold’em, drawing 2,509 entries

Four WSOP bracelet events online in 2018

In 2018, WSOP.com will host four online bracelet events, including the first-ever Pot-Limit Omaha online bracelet event. All four are single-day online events that will play out entirely online. Plus, each will feature unlimited re-entry. The 2018 WSOP online bracelet event schedule is as follows:

  • $365 No Limit Hold’em June 3 at 3:30 p.m.
  • $565 Pot Limit Omaha 6-Handed June 22 at 3:30 p.m.
  • $1,000 No Limit Hold’em June 29 at 3:30 p.m.
  • $3,200 High Roller June 30 at 3:30 p.m.

The entire 2018 WSOP schedule runs through July 17 and will feature a total of 78 bracelet events. This includes the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop, which is back in Las Vegas after running in Monte Carlo.

In 2017, the WSOP awarded more than $231 million in total prize money. With even more events on the schedule this summer, including the four Online bracelet events, organizers are expecting the prize pool to be even bigger.

It will be quite a story if someone can book a big score and WSOP bracelet win buying in for just $1. WSOP.com is promising to run even more WSOP bracelet event satellites and super satellites as the 2018 WSOP approaches in an effort to help make this dream come true.

WSOP.com is a World Series of Poker-branded online poker site. It is the largest poker site in the state, controlling 99 percent of the Nevada online poker market.

The site offers a variety of cash games as well as sit and go and multi-table tournaments. Plus, it is the only legal and regulated online poker site in the US offering online satellites into live WSOP events.
