The Venetian Poker Room will once again host the DeepStack Championship Poker Series starting May 14, featuring over $31 million in total guaranteed prize pools and 150 tournaments.
A Nevada casino’s press release stated that USA Today named the tournament as one of the best poker series. The tournament is set to run for 11 weeks, from May to July.
Unusually, the DeepStack series will expand beyond The Venetian to also encompass Hall G in the Sands Expo, adding an additional 140 tables for tournaments and cash games.
Additional benefits include a food court, a player’s lounge, a final table stadium setup with 96 seats, and five final tables livestreamed from Mid-Stakes Poker Tour’s Twitch. For the first time in the series, there will also be tables equipped with shuffle machines.
This is a significant enlargement for the already beloved poker tournament series.
