The 2017 World Series of Poker (WSOP) schedule has been unveiled.

Online poker players in Nevada now have the opportunity to strategize ahead of time and secure their place in the action, courtesy of WSOP.com.

Sunday, Feb. 5 marked the first day of online satellites on the online poker site. These satellites are the highlight of the site’s February promotions.

WSOP Weekend Experience satellites

The primary goal of the online satellites is to give away seats for the Colossus event. This tournament necessitates a $550 buy-in and features a bracelet event. The event in the previous year drew in 21,613 participants and created a prize pool that surpassed $10.8 million.

A WSOP Weekend Experience package satellite with rebuys and add-ons occurs every Sunday at 4:45 p.m. PT. This event requires a $30 buy-in. The package includes a Colossus seat, a $333 buy-in online bracelet event entry, a food voucher, and a swag bag.

The Colossus event is set to begin on Friday, June 2, with two launch flights each day at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., continuing for three straight days. Also, an online event has been planned for 3:30 p.m. on June 3.

Colossus satellites

A satellite with rebuys and add-ons is organized every Sunday at 5:45 p.m. PT. This event requires a $10 buy-in and provides the opportunity to win a seat at the $565 Colussus.

$1,000 bracelet event satellites

Arguably, a satellite that offers the best value for your money is available every Sunday at 6:45 p.m. PT.

Participants are required to pay a $10 entry fee for the tournament, which also includes options for rebuys and add-ons. The winner is gifted with a spot in any $1,000 entry fee bracelet event. This year’s WSOP schedule presents a selection of ten different $1,000 bracelet events for the champion to choose from.

Terms and conditions for the WSOP NV satellites

Players should familiarize themselves with a few rules and terms for the satellites before they start playing.

As expected, the seats are non-refundable and cannot be transferred. However, winners of the $1,000 event can choose to receive their prize as WSOP.com tournament tickets instead of a bracelet event buy-in. When they win, players have the option to decide how they want to receive their prize.

The website will automatically enroll the winners of the Colossus seats into the event. Prior to the tournament, participants will choose one of the six flights they want to be a part of.

Sunday also offers Big Deal

Be sure to watch out for the monthly Big Deal event if you spend your Sundays playing WSOP qualifiers on the site – it’s another tournament worth keeping an eye on.

The Big Deal, an event that happens every last Sunday of the month at 4 p.m. Pacific Time, requires a $500 buy-in and assures a prize pool of $30,000.

Should the entry fee exceed your budget, you have the option of participating in various preliminary events for as little as $5.

The satellites, which cost $5, function every day at 6 p.m. There is a weekly event every Sunday and the final Saturday of each month at 5:45 p.m. This event, priced at $50, guarantees five seats.

This new tournament was introduced on Jan. 31. The Big Deal event, which is upcoming, is scheduled for Feb. 26.
