The 49th Annual World Series of Poker isn’t set to begin until May 29, but WSOP.com asserts that it’s never too early to plan for the event. In fact, the Nevada-based online poker platform is commencing its satellites on February 11, providing players the opportunity to secure a spot in a WSOP bracelet event.

The buy-ins for the satellite start at a minimal $10. Moreover, super satellites provide a chance to enter into the $10 buy-in tournaments with an even lower buy-in of just $1.

WSOP.com intends to host a variety of 2018 WSOP event satellites and super satellites every Sunday in February, starting from Feb. 11 and ending on Feb. 25.

The satellite season online began on Sunday with the 2018 WSOP Kick-off Weekend Package Satellite which had a $30 buy-in.

Four WSOP bracelet events online in 2018

WSOP.com is set to host four online bracelet events in 2018, including the inaugural Pot-Limit Omaha online bracelet event. These four events, which are all scheduled for a single day, will be conducted entirely online and feature unlimited re-entry. The schedule for the 2018 WSOP online bracelet events is as follows:

  • No Limit Hold’em $365 on June 3 at 3:30 p.m.
  • June 22 at 3:30 p.m., $565 Pot Limit Omaha 6-Handed
  • No Limit Hold’em with a $1,000 limit on June 29 at 3:30 p.m.
  • High Roller $3,200 on June 30 at 3:30 p.m.

The full schedule for the 2018 WSOP extends until July 17, with a total of 78 bracelet events lined up. This includes the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop event, which is returning to Las Vegas after being held in Monte Carlo.

In 2017, the WSOP handed out over $231 million in total prize money. Organizers anticipate an even larger prize pool this summer, given the increase in scheduled events, which includes the four Online bracelet events.

If someone can secure a large win and a WSOP bracelet by just buying in for $1, it would indeed be quite a tale. As the 2018 WSOP draws near, WSOP.com is committing to host more WSOP bracelet event satellites and super satellites to assist in making this dream a reality.

WSOP.com is an online poker site affiliated with the World Series of Poker and controls 99 percent of the Nevada online poker market, making it the largest poker site in the state.

The site provides a range of cash games, along with sit-and-go and multi-table tournaments. Furthermore, it stands as the sole legal, regulated online poker site in the US that offers online satellites into live WSOP events.
